It is kind of rare when I take the time to get out of the office for lunch. I typically just eat my desk. Don’t get me wrong. I enjoy my little meals that I bring to work and I love that I’m saving money by doing this simple little task. However, a new sushi joint just opened in the neighborhood and I do not say “No” to sushi. This is a fact.
My buddy, Jess, knows this and tricked me into going to lunch by offering up sushi. Naughty Jess.

I also made a great choice by choosing the vegetable tempura. It was light yet crispy. It was just what tempura should be.
I felt like at $13 it was a bit pricey but it was quite yummy. I will definitely be back to try out Basho’s dinner.
After work it was time to hit up After Hours at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum with Cathy and Karen. The museum is absolutely beautiful but you will have to just take my word for it. Unfortunately they don’t allow pictures inside. If it did I would have taken pictures of our fun glasses of champagne, the musicians in the garden, and the 3 of us on a hunt for Lions. Instead you have this…
PS. I was the Review of the Day on Yelp! Does this make me cool? No? That is what I though. Oh well. It was worth a try.
G’night kids!
Question for ya:
Do you eat lunch out at work or do you brown bag it? If you do eat out, how much do you normally spend?
