There is a first time for everything…

Tonight my first was to make chicken salad. The Scientist is such a good sport by being my guinea pig with things like  black bean brownies and tofu “alfredo” sauce. I wanted to thank him for letting me experiment by making something that he never gets in the AGAHM household…meat.

After a long day at the beach I couldn’t take the thought of cooking something serious on the stove or in the oven. I whipped up a chicken salad wrap with diced up grilled chicken strips, plain fat free greek yogurt, grapes, onions and a little avocado.

He brought over some Goose Island Honker’s Ale for us to give a try. BEER! BEER! BEER!

I love everything Goose Island. I can prove it too (look here).

So cold, crisp and extremely drinkable. Tons of wonderful orange flavors too!

I have to admit that I’m not the best wrap wrapper. The Scientist needed a fork was needed to eat this baby. Eh. I do the best I can!

Oops! I just noticed that the beer in the photo is a little lower than the previous photo. What?! I was thirsty! 😉

I’m pretty proud of myself for getting this together. I hope he doesn’t expect steak next time! Kidding…kind of.

Have a great week!

That avocado looks so delicious! Good for you for making something you aren’t used to cooking. 🙂 I’m always trying to step outside my food comfort zone.

YUM! That chicken salad looks fantastic! I can’t wrap either but I do know the tighter you wrap the better success you will have. I think any way LOL
