This installment of Martini Monday was a success! The girls and I headed out to Biagio in Waltham for some patio drinking and dining. Is there a better way to end a Monday and get the week started?!

I made a reservation for all of us on the patio and had my fingers crossed that the weather would be decent for the night. We were some lucky duckies that not only was it nice, but it was GORGEOUS!

While we were deciding what to eat, which can be TONS of fun with a large group of ladies, I sipped on a Blackberry Lime Rickey.

However, I was secretly eyeing Tiffany’s sangria. Mmm…doesn’t all that fruit look so yummy?!

Anne seems to be enjoying her fun pomegranate drink. Her first choice was some cherry drink, but they were out of cherry puree. The server described the drink as tasting like “cough syrup” and Anne perked up at this idea. Should I be concerned?!

The menu at Biagio was a replica of the menu used during Boston’s Restaurant Week. An appetizer, entree and dessert for $33.10. Score!
I started with the Eggplant Braccidettini, which is thinly sliced eggplant with ricotta cheese and a light sauce on top. This little app was delicious and could have easily been my entree. It was a great portion size!

Honestly, after I finished with this I was STUFFED. While I was waiting for my entree I sipped on this little number.

Hey good lookin’.
When my entree arrived I knew that most of this was coming home with me. It was so much food! AND SO GOOD! I went with the Fig and Mascarpone Ravioli and I was pretty pleased with my choice. *Pat on the back!*

I had to take a picture of Claudia’s chicken parm. Seriously?! Was this meant to be family style?!

I think she ate about one corner before giving up. She and I will both be eating Biagio lunches tomorrow!
Don’t forget though…we still had dessert to go! Everyone picked something different so we had a few choice to try out including tiramisu, cannolis, and chocolate cake.

I took a little bite of my cannoli and called it a day. “Pack these babies up please!”
Seriously…hanging out with these ladies is always a good time. They make me laugh hysterically. I love getting to hear some great stories each and EVERY time.
Hope you all had a great Monday! After all this food I am EXHAUSTED. Early bed time is calling my name.
