My Dad came and in what seems like a blink of the eye, he is gone. I enjoyed every single minute of his visit and I missed him before I even dropped him off at the airport.
We ate, drank, and laughed our way around Boston.

We made a poorly planned day trip to Portland, Maine too. FYI…the weather in Maine is not so great in April. Thank goodness for some good attitudes and clam chowdah.
We had a festive and spicy Easter. Mexican food and chocolate!
I was excited that flowers were out in full force for his visit. Who doesn’t love a pretty flower?!
Each time my Dad comes to visit we do something fun and a little exciting. One time it was ziplining, another time it was snow mobiling. This time it was indoor skydiving at SkyVenture in NH. We weren’t able to take photos in the big ol’ wind tunnel, but you have to take my word for it that it was CRAZY. Super crazy fun! The only bad side of it…my face during the skydiving. I once had a friend of mine get mad at me because she told me that I was “too photogenic”. Uh…yea. Its because I only SHOW the GOOD photos. This is the moment where I break that image. Be prepared to be scared. And scarred. Scared and Scarred.

WHAT THE HECK IS THAT?! What is going on with my face?! Unfortunately this is probably one of the best photos of me from the day. Yep. The best. Then there is my Dad.

*Insert Sarcasm* Isn’t that nice. My Dad is like a crane in the wild. That beard is hiding something. I’m convinced. ![]()
Despite the awful photo, we had a fantastic time! I couldn’t stop laughing the whole time. Supah fun.
My parents and I live entirely too far away from each other. I miss my Mom and Dad every single day. The trips to Boston or Pensacola, although not frequent enough, make life that much better!

I hope you all had a wonderful Easter! I’m doing my best to get back into the swing of things. Those few days off from work are tough to recover from. I’ll see you on Wednesday!

I live way too far from my parents & siblings too! I always look forward to getting together for a visit!
Family gatherings are always so welcome and warm!
He looks like so much fun! The lobster roll picture, omg, I want one. And those skydiving pics are hysterical. My brother used to work in one of those indoor skydyving thingies. Too funny.
He is! The lobster roll was fan-tas-tic! That photo? It was not.
Woah indoor sky diving!!! That is SO cool! Sounds like an awesome weekend.
It was such a great week with him! The indoor skydiving is a definite must do again.
Looks like you had so much fun! I love visits with my family… though mine are only a 3 hour car ride away, I still only see them every few months. I get sad the minute they leave/I leave!
I can’t wait until my family is closer. I want them right around the corner! When I was in college I lived 3 hrs from my parents and didn’t take advantage of it. I would totally do things differently now!
Your skydiving pic made me out loud awkward chuckle!
I’m glad that I can spread the awkwardness.
What a fun time with your dad! The indoor skydiving photos are hilarious! I love spending time with my dad. Since we live in the same city, we see each other often, but it would be fun to plan a special date with him.
That picture is awesome!! LOL! My friend went skydiving with her husband and they framed the pictures of their crazy faces! You’re so lucky to have had such a nice day with your dad.
