Pardon My Break for an Adventure!

by agirlandhermutt on July 6, 2012

Hi friends! Long time, no chat. I took a little unintentional break from the little blog, but a lovely intentional break from work and life. On Sunday morning Boston got a little bit brighter because my Dad came to town! I just spent the past week enjoying the city with him and having all kinds of fun adventures.

We managed to pack in tons of food and laughs AND we also crossed off one of my 32 While 32 items…

#23. Take a ride in a Hot Air Balloon!

The feeling of being in the air among the clouds and birds was amazing. I’m so glad I got the opportunity to do this and even better was that it was with my Dad!

After several years of different adventures including zip lining, walking a marathon &  a half, snow mobiling, snorkeling, parasailing, wave running, indoor skydiving, horseback riding through the ocean, and now ballooning…we have officially decided to keep our feet on the ground or under the water. Being in the air is amazing, but holy moly it is scary sometimes! :)

Any thoughts on the next adventure?! Scuba diving? White water rafting?

I’ll be back next week with some fun updates, a new recipe and a few CSA updates!

Have a great weekend!

What a fun adventure! I have only been in a basket, but not in the air. They have a hot air balloon festival here during the 4th that I love to go see. I need to add taking a ride in one to the life list. :)

I vote for scuba diving, scuba diving, scuba diving… Whatever we do we will have a great time doing it!

How amazing!! I definitely want to do that someday.
I took a scuba class in college- it scared me to death! I am dying to go horseback riding- it’s one of those things that I really want to do in Colorado sometime.
