Hello folks! Can I tell you a secrent? Wednesday is officially my Friday this week! I have a few days off from work coming up and I’m ex-cit-ed! I’m even doing a little vacation boogey dance for ya.
Super quick Day 4 of the 5 Day Slimdown Recap…
Breakfast was yogurt & berries w/ my Meta-d drink. I overbought on the greek yogurt a few weekends ago (those $1 sales get me every time) and needed to finish them up this week. I’m officially greek yogurted out. Yes, that picture is the same from the weekend. It looks the exact same, sooo….
Lunch was a nice little salad with cucumbers and peppers with a side of black beans mixed with homemade salsa. I also added in a little hard boiled egg for later in the day. Don’t forget the 2 little clementines. Loving those suckers right now!
Snack was my Monkey Smoothie. This time I added spinach. I will NOT do that again. I don’t mine spinach in my smoothies but this particular mix just wasn’t making it. I made myself gag a little actually. Oops.
Dinner was an unpictured salad. FUN!
Workout was Tone It Up’s Under the Sea workout and the Cowabunga workout. I was sweatin’ up a storm near the end and then it wasn’t till I was done that I realized I was still wearing my nice earrings that I wore to work. I like to workout all fancy style now.
Wednesday is Day 5 (the last day!) and all should be just fine. I’m feeling good and enjoying the increased energy.
For the past few days Boston has just been at its best with the weather. It is sunny and lovely in all ways. We got a little rain the other day, but nothing major. I’ve been taking advantage of the cloudless sky with lunchtime walks.
I can usually cover a mile or two during lunch. Plus I get some much needed sun. My legs could blind someone and never seem to tan. Why is that? They used to get so brown, but now they just burn and turn back to bright white. Not cool.
