Monthly Faves: September 2012

by agirlandhermutt on October 9, 2012

It is almost 10 days into October and I’m busting out with my fave items from September. Yep. That is how I roll. I’m always a little behind, but that doesn’t make these items that I love all through September any less special.

Zico Coconut Water + Perfect Protein Powder= A match made in heaven. The smooth, non-gritty vanilla protein powder in it’s single serving packet is perfect to pair with regular or chocolate Zico coconut water. Just pour the little packet in, mix it up, and get to it!

I recently found a Pandora Double Leather Bracelet that was given to me by one of BFFs. I wore this sucker day and night for several months and then had to take it off for some reason. Out of sight, out of mind! I recently found it while organizing my jewelry tackle box (another picture for another day) and slapped it right back on.

While delayed at the airport on a recent trip I made a pit stop at The Body Shop. I hadn’t been in the store forever and there were so many fun new products! I went a little nuts on the strawberry items and come home with a few faves including the Strawberry Body Butter, Strawberry Body Mist, and Strawberry Lippy Balm. I also purchased the body oil and while it isn’t my favorite, I do enjoy it.

My old skin is needing a bit more help these days so I finally decided to try out so true foundations. I usually just mess around with BB Creams and tinted moisturizers and even just powder. I like my makeup to be light. I found that with the Revlon Colorstay Whipped Foundation. It is light. It is smooth. It lasts all day long!

No foundation is complete without the perfect blush. In my case that is the Milani Baked Blush in Dolce Pink. It gives that perfect healthy glow to my cheeks. I consistently look like I just came in from a day of skiing on the slopes.

To round off the makeup, I am obsessed with the MAC Powerpoint Eye Pencil in Buried Treasure. It is a dark brown with hints of green and gold. Perfect for those who want that dark and mysterious eye without being totally overdone.

*Not pictured: Lionel Black & Gold Bag from Marshalls. It is large and in charge. Tons of hardware and super soft. To check it out, and all the other goodies I’ve mentioned, you can watch me on my YouTube channel chat about all these favorites. WOOT!

Next month I am making it a goal to have this up and going on November 1st. Lets see how that works out for us. ;)

I had some time to kill while waiting at the train station and popped into The Body Shop- I hadn’t been in there for years! I loved the new almond scent which is surprising becaue I usually am more of a fruity person :P
