Who doesn’t love a 4 day work week?! This week just flew by and I am pumped for the next few days. I have a busy weekend planned and it just so happens to tie in with 90+ weather here in Boston. I already have my a/c installed so I am ready. BOOM.

I saw this little list/survey on a few other blogs including Lindsay’s List and I thought it looked fun. Perfect way to kick off a Friday!

Current Read:
Drop Dead Healthy by A.J. Jacobs. Basically this guy decided to become the healthiest man alive. He is trying every diet out there, every exercise routine around and telling all about it. I love this guy’s writing styles and he has a great sense of humor.

Current Music:

I’ve managed to listen to Icona Pop’s I Love It about 1,000 times in a row. It is short, catchy and perfect for me to sing too. I only do that in my car though. And at my spinning class. I kind of sound like them.

Current Guilty Pleasure:
Sour Jacks. Ugh. No words.

Current Nail Color:
For the first time in months, I have nothing on my nails. I plan on painting them this weekend before I leave for vacation with this fun Sally Hansen Coral Reef color. I might add in a little accent nail too. Oooh fancy.

Current Drink:

Water, water, and more water. I am literally drinking my weight in water these days.

Current Food:
The past few meals have looked exactly the same. Turkey meatballs and steamed cauliflower mixed with 1 wedge of Laughing Cow Queso Fresco & Chipotle. Soooo good and super easy for those of us who might be a little lazy come dinner time.

Current TV Show:
Arrested Development! I’m taking the little bits at a time approach. So far I have watched the first 4 episodes and looking forward to watching a few more this weekend. I want to make those 14 episodes last as long as possible!

Current Wish List:

Oakley Caveats. Sigh. So lovely.

Current Needs:

This isn’t exactly a need, but I really, really, really want to find a pair of nice leather black flats. Nothing too fancy, but nothing too casual. It is nearly impossible!

Current Indulgence:
A monthly visit from the most wonderful woman who helps me to clean my apartment. Also, spinning classes. The classes are separate from my gym membership, but so worth the cost.

Current Blessing:
This one never changes…my family! That includes my parents, friends, BF and Korky. That nutty cast of characters all = my family.

Current Outfit:
I busted out the white pants today. Woot! Just in time for me to spill something on them almost immediately. What will it be first?! Oooh. Exciting to think about! 😉 FYI…I post outfits of the day on Instagram every now and then. Check me out at @agirlandhermutt.

Current Excitement:
Tonight I’m heading down to my favorite beer event of the year, the American Craft Beer Fest and then next week I will be in San Diego! Eek! I’ve never been and I’m so excited. Any recommendations?!

Sometimes when you have a specific item of clothing in mind you can never find it!

My current excitement is getting to drink red wine again after a month off from drinking 🙂

San Diego is awesome! My favorite things are: San Diego Zoo! Seriously. SO worth the money and the time. You won’t find a zoo like it anywhere! And for food and drinks? Definitely gaslamp district… so many good Mexican places! And by far, my favorite restaurant is called C-Level. It has incredible views of the harbor and the food is AMAZING (especially the ‘skirts on fire’ salad, if they still have it?!); they don’t do reservations but totally worth a little bit of a wait!
