As a fun Christmas gift, I gave The Scientist two tickets to a Celtics vs. Magic game. Remember?

I have gone to a game once before as part of my 30 While 30 accomplishments, but this was going to be a bit different because The Scientist is a HUGE fan of The Magic. Well Monday was the big night for us to go! It fell on MLK Day so I had the day off from work. Rather than be a bum and just lay around the house, I joined by buddy Karen for a visit to her gym. I’m in the process of dropping my current gym and joining a new one so this was part of my evaluation. We worked it hardcore on the elliptical. My new fave this is to use this workout from FitSugar.

FitSugar has some awesome workout for the elliptical, treadmill and strength training routines to download and print out (check out the tag “PDF” for some other great printables!). Great for a grab-n-workout routine!
We followed up our workout with a trip to In a Pickle for some brunch.

Their menu is extensive, but filled with all kinds of yummy meals that involve eggs and breakfast potatoes!

I went for a Sombrero Breakfast sandwich: one egg with onion, tomatoes, salsa, and jalapenos on a whole wheat bagel. I also definitely went for the side of hash browns. Its so hard to say no!

Karen made a smarter choice with a burrito and a side of fruit. Show off.

The rest of the day was dedicated to grocery shopping, meal planning and getting ready for the BIG GAME!

I love the atmosphere of pro sports games. I don’t really watch basketball on tv, but I do enjoy a live game. The Scientist is a life long Magic fan and I secretly love their uniform colors so…WIN WIN!

I also happen to love Dwight Howard and JJ Redick. True Story.

Long game (which we didn’t win), but a good time! I even got to see a giant Shaq head! Bobble heads make me giggle.

Guess who else was at the game?! Michelle from Hit the Bricks! Her view of the game=Much better than mine! Check out how close she was!
Are you a sports fan? If so, college, pro, both?!
I’m a big fan of FSU (duh!), Red Sox, Boston Blazers (lacrosse), and I keep up with the Magic and Tampa Bay Bucs (The Scientist’s teams).
